this was originally 10 songs, until people told me not to use their beats. that version of this project was done in a literal week period, and I was so fucking proud of it. then, after I had to start re-working songs and trying to find new beats, I began a transformation and I entered an experience that I hadn't had before.
I began to create all day everyday, started making my own beats, wrote all the time, and just felt for a while. I began to take in everything, "good and bad", and kind of became "depressed" again. it wasn't no good. then, I centered this energy I had began to tap into, and the universe introduced me to the space I gained within, AKA Vellum Bristol. the paper for which my words are scratched, the beats for which they are spoken over, and Vellum ultimately showed me that life isn't bad or good.
these are transcripts over the past 6 months of this process, from the OG album, to this EP. it contains jewels of knowledge I'm trying to pass down the best way I know how to, in between my own experiences and other people's stories. Vellum Bristol is an integral piece of my life now, and is now consistently taking me down different lessons. this is the space I gained within: an introduction to Vellum Bristol.
